ORIGINS
The company was set up to produce the low budget feature film "The Vampires of Bloody Island" by husband and wife team Allin and Pamela Kempthorne, both working actors who had experienced many years in front of the camera in a wide diversity of television and film.
Wibbell Productions is proud of it's independent status and sees in the independent British film making community a strongly emerging talent base, plus also a frustration at the stronghold of the American major studio/distributors over the British market.
DISTRIBUTION
It is Wibbell's desire to join forces with other independent film producers to seek new methods and new routes for film distribution. Wibbell Distribution is active as a video and DVD sub-distributor, currently supplying around 30 titles to shops and retailers. We will, as our catalogue grows, be looking at internet distribution and television broadcast opportunities.

Wibbell specialises in, and is building an identity, in the marketable niche of cult horror and sci-fi films.
